Having a massage offers a reprieve from the stresses we incur daily in our lives. As well, having a regular massage helps those with pregnancy pains, whiplash, muscle spasms, and stress-related conditions.
There are two types of massage that your RMT (Registered Massage Therapist) can perform. A relaxation massage is performed with a lighter touch to relieve the daily build-up of stress that comes with our busy lives. A therapeutic massage is performed with more pressure to specifically release muscle tension wherever you may feel pain or tightness.To see an improvement in your overall health you may need to have several treatments. Many RMT’s will recommend a massage at least once a month, but they are also able to set up a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and the benefits you are looking for from your massage.
